For several generations, Information Security has focused on evaluating and protecting the information technology (IT) systems of infrastructures and companies: Financial, Commercial, Purchasing, HR areas … but for a few years now the sensorics, equipment and operating systems (OT) in the plant are being connected to the outside in an exponential way, which is causing an increase in the global risks of a company. Industry 4.0 cannot be understood without IT / OT convergence, this is the integration of IT systems, used for data-centric computing, with OT systems, used to monitor events, processes, devices and make adjustments to business operations and industrial.
